The surgeon will discuss the options available.
3. What does informed consent mean?
Information about the alternative, procedure, outcome and possible complications are given in writing.
4. Where will my face lift incisions be?
On the sides of the face extending behind the ear and often into the hairline and often under the chin.
5. What if I have a history of bad scars?
Your surgeon may be able to take precautions.
6. What about my daily medications before facelift surgery?
Let your surgeon know what you are on. Some medications may need to be discontinued or another medication taken.
7. I take vitamins and supplements. Do I need to stop them before facelift surgery?
Some need to be discontinued prior to surgery.
